Welcome to Sun Valley Baptist’s website.  Certainly our intent is to give you a glimpse into life at Sun Valley, but nothing takes the place of a personal visit to a church.  So we look forward to seeing you in one of our services which are given below.  If you have other questions, please call and let one of us answer them. 

Sun Valley was founded in 1960 on Sun Valley street (hence its name) and is affiliated with Baptist Bible Fellowship International.  We are also the home of Northeast Christian Academy which was founded in 1977.  We are an Independent

Baptist church and believe the church is here to win people to Christ and disciple them in their spiritual walk.

Sunday school is graded and there are three adult Sunday school classes as well as kindergarten, elementary, and teen classes.  AWANA is on Wednesday evening and is for children K-5 through 6th grade.

There is also an adult Bible study on Wednesday night, a women’s Bible study and a class for teens.  Twice a year we also do Upward programs in soccer and basketball.

There are presently 160 students in the school and growing.  N.E.C.A. is K-3 through 12th grade.  We have graduates in every field.

During the year we also do mission trips, men’s retreat, and other activities to help Christian growth.  We have a heavy emphasis on missions and presently support over 44 missionaries and mission projects around the world.
